Planning Your 2021 Santa Barbara Visit

We made it to 2021!!!  We are open and welcome you to visit our beautiful town.  Things are so up in the air regarding opening and closing that we wanted to put together the information that is available today (Feb 22, 2021) in our area.  It’s a bit long, but we want to give you a good idea of what’s available and give you tools for forward planning. (links provided for most)

Southwest Airlines:

Southwest Flights to Santa Barbara, YAY!  - April 12, 2021 Southwest Airlines will be adding flights to and from Santa Barbara.  The link has great deals being offered.

Restaurants:

We are happy to say that our restaurants are ‘mostly’ open to diners.  They are serving outdoors and since we are blessed with good weather, this is usually a very comfortable experience.  If it gets a little cold in the evenings the heaters come out.

There are so, so many great places to enjoy a meal, but some of our tried and true favorites are:

Restaurant Roy Locally sourced, full bar.  Roy is a friend of Owners, Greg and Jen

Holdren’s Steakhouse Steakhouse and Seafood.  Great rib specials

The BoatHouse at Hendry’s Beach Great place to watch sunset and enjoy yummy food & drinks

Santa Barbara Shellfish Company on the Pier Favorite for seafood lovers. Can’t beat the view!

Bettina Pizzeria in Montecito Artisan Pizzas

Carlito’s Cantina Mexican food, excellent cocktails.  Across from the famous Arlington Theatre

Mesa Verde Restaurant Vegan cuisine. Local Favorite

East Beach Tacos - At the batting cages, walkable.  Another Local Favoriate

La Superica Taqueria - Julia Childs Approved - Forbes - excellent!  You may see a star or two!

Wine Lover’s can have an outstanding time tasting in Santa Barbara, both downtown and near the beach, or of course, up on the hill in Santa Ynez Valley and nearby areas.  Here are some ideas for your tasting pleasure. Did you know that the 2004 film Sideways was filmed in the Santa Ynez/Los Olivos/Buellton area?

Amy

Hi,
You have amazing reviews and I’d like to make a reservation. I just left a voicemail.
Do you have rooms with 2 beds? Only a queen and king are listed. I will be in town two nights, beginning this Wednesday.

Thank you,
Amy

"Lovely" ★★★★★ My husband and I stayed here for one night as part of our honeymoon. We were greeted very warmly on arrival and for the first time during our trip we were personally shown around and taken up to our room. The hosts took the time to go through a local map with us too and to make recommendations on things to do based on our interests. The room itself was gorgeous and perfectly put together and we had a view of the sea in the distance. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Parking was very easy and it was nice to be able to leave our car parked for the duration of our stay given that everything was easily within walking distance. We had a lovely stay and will definitely remember this hotel if we are back in the area in the future.
