I made a reservation in Pacific Crest on the Expedia web site on 4/27/2023 at 7:50PM for a supposed stay on 4/28 for 2 nights.
5 minutes later I received an email informing me that you will be closed when we arrive at night, and you will not be able to accommodate late check-in after 9:00PM.
We missed this detail on the web site before making Booking.
Since we were driving from the Bay Area after work, we knew that we would not be able to make it on time, so I called your hotel and spoke to the desk person if late check-in could be accommodated by sending him a picture of driver-s license and credit card. Hotel person stated that it is not possible, and to look for different hotels.
I asked him kindly to cancel the reservation so I could look for a different hotel. He said that Expedia needs to do it. I called Expedia, and they tried calling but nobody picked up.
The claim they tried multiple times, that same evening, before 9:00 PM and the next day.
Ultimately Expedia charged me $738.72 for this stay, and claimed that they were unable to get me a refund, since your hotel denied that request.
I ask you kindly to reverse these charges, for something we were unable to use, due to missing late check-in ability.
